I have analytics for this website and sometimes I actually look at them.  It’s very helpful when deciding on a video topic to know which of my posts have done the best.  This website was started in 2015.  Care to guess what my ten most popular posts are?  In the 5 years I’ve been running the site, the top ten posts (in order from most to least popular) have been:

  1. Fender Bassbreaker 007 Combo Amp Review
  2. Coil Split vs Coil Tap and Why Both Sound Bad
  3. Epiphone Les Paul Upgrade Guide – 10 Tips
  4. The Shortcomings of the Fender Bassbreaker 007
  5. Review – Epiphone 339 Pro
  6. Vox AC4C1-12 Amp Review
  7. Ibanez GIO GRG270DX Review
  8. 2014 Gibson Les Paul LPJ Review
  9. PRS SE Custom 24 Review
  10. Review – Epiphone Les Paul Special P90

So out of those top 10 posts, 7 of them were reviews, and Epiphone showed up 3 times.  But that’s over a 5 year period.  What are the top 10 pages from the last 30 days?  That would be a better guide for what people care about right now:

  1. Epiphone Les Paul Upgrade Guide – 10 Tips
  2. Why I will buy the Line 6 Pod Go
  3. Ibanez GIO GRG270DX Review
  4. Review – Epiphone 339 Pro
  5. Vox AC4C1-12 Amp Review
  6. Why My Strat Has Two Knobs
  7. Review – Epiphone DC Pro
  8. Review – GFS Slick SL60
  9. Review – Jackson Adrian Smith SDX Guitar
  10. Marshall Origin 50 Review

Soooo… 7 reviews.  The pattern sticks around.  People here are mostly interested in reviews.  That pretty much tells me that my YouTube channel needs to do more reviews.

As I type this, it’s July 4, 2020 and I have 75 subscribers. I’m working on getting to 100 subscribers.  If you enjoy this website and/or enjoy the YouTube channel, please consider helping me out by letting your guitar playing friends know about me.
